Hierdie is een van daai sousmengsels wat ‘n ware staatmaker in die kombuis is en geen kombuis behoort sonder hom te wees. Heerlik oor wors, tjops,frikkadelle, hoender, vleis en om stowegeregte te verdik en sous mee te geur.
Meng 250g koekmeel,
250g souspoeier,
1 pk bruinuiesoppoeier,
1pk sampoensoppoeier,
1 pk tamatiesopoeier en bere in ‘n lugdigte houer.
Dit hou baie lank en is heerlik.
BUTTERSCOTCH SAUCE:

125ml butter
125ml dark brown sugar
30ml golden syrup
125ml cream
1.Heat the butter in a saucepan.
2.Add the sugar and syrup and stir over a gentle heat until the sugar dissolves.
3.Stir in the cream and simmer for 2 minutes.
VENISON AND ROAST MUTTON SAUCE:

½ cup raisins soaked in ½ cup brandy
1-2 tbsp marmalade
1-2 tbsp cranberry or cherry jelly
1-2 tbsp mint jelly
1-2 tbsp apricot jam
¼ cup balsamic vinegar
¼ cup olive oil
Honey-mustard sauce or salad dressing to taste
Combine all the ingredients.
Crush the biscuits and combine with the butter and press into a 3cm deep pie dish.
Combine the yoghurt and condensed milk and pour over the crust.
Bake on high power for 4 minutes.
Refrigerate.

200 ml melk

1 ml sout en 'n titseltjie swart peper
Roer bestanddele bymekaar en mikrogolf vir 4 minute teen 100% krag ( oop in 'n diep houer) en roer elke minuut.
MICROWAVE HOLLANDAISE SAUCE:

1/2 cup. butter
2 egg yolks
1 tbsp. milk
2 tsp. lemon juice
1/8 tsp. salt
Dash white pepper
Place butter into small microwave-safe bowl.
Cover with wax paper and cook on high 1 1/2 minutes or until butter melts and is bubbly.
Beat remaining ingredients in another small bowl, until smooth.
Slowly add hot butter to egg-yolk mixture until smooth and slightly thickened, using a wire whisk.
Cook sauce at medium for 15 seconds.
Stir with whisk.
Cook 30 more seconds, stir with whisk.
Serve over asparagus, eggs or chicken.
MICROWAVE HOT FUDGE SAUCE:
1 cup. sugar
3 tbsp. cocoa
1 stick butter [125g]
1/2 cup. milk
Mix sugar and cocoa. Add milk and stir. Bring to boil in microwave. Add butter and continue to boil until butter is melted. May be stored in refrigerator and reheated. Makes a great sauce for Hot Fudge Cake!!!

LEWER GENOEG VIR 4 – 6 PERSONE
450g blok verouderde cheddarkaas in blokkies gesny

1 t Worcestersous
½ t droë mostert
Broodblokkies of snye
Meng al die bestanddele in ‘n bak.
Mikrogolf op 50% vir 7 – 8 minute totdat kaas gesmelt is.
Roer 3 keer tydens gaarmaak.
Meng deeglik totdat sous in gladde tekstuur het.
Bedien op brood en rooster dit onder element van oond tot goudbruin.

Microwave cheese spread and milk in bowl on high 4 to 6 minutes or until smooth, stirring every 2 minutes. Serve over hot baked potatoes or vegetables.
CONVENTIONAL: Combine ingredients in saucepan; stir over low heat until smooth. Makes 1 1/2 cups.
CHILI DIP: [HOT STUFF]
You Will Need
1 pound process cheese , cubed
1/2 cup chunky-style salsa
1 can (4 ounces) chopped green chilies
1 jar (4 ounces) diced pimientos, drained
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper
1/8 teaspoon ground cumin
1/8 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes Tortilla chips
What to Do
In a microwave-safe bowl, combine the first eight ingredients. Cover and microwave on high for 6-7 minutes or until cheese is melted, stirring occasionally. Serve with tortilla chips.

4 tbsp. butter
1 cup. beef broth
Salt and pepper to taste
Place livers and one cup water in a 4 cup glass measure. Cover with plastic wrap. Microwave or steam until livers lose pink color. Drain and set aside. Use remaining 3 cups of water into a 3 quart round casserole. Cover and microwave on high 6 minutes or until boiling. Stir in rice, garlic and cayenne pepper (recover). Microwave on high 4 minutes. Then microwave on 30% medium low 13 to 15 minutes fluff and set aside. Chop livers add to rice. In same glass measuring put onions, bell peppers and butter. Microwave on high 2 to 3 minutes. Add to rice along with broth. Add salt and pepper to taste.
Use as stuffing or side dish.

Gooi in warm flessie/houers .. (indien sterker moster verlang word gooi knippie rooipeper by droe bestanddele) dit lewer +- 500 ml -
"Microgolfoond" werk soos in dubbele kastrol.. gooi alles in n glasbak en micro so 7 min op volle krag (onthou om dit kort kort met 'whisk' te klits tot verdik en deur gekook.. op die einde van proses, roer margarien by en bottel en geniet..
