• Voeg alle bestanddele bymekaar en meng goed.
• Spuit of smeer tertbak en gooi mengsel in, strooi gerasperde kaas en paprika bo-oor.
• Bak 11-12 minute op medium op rakkie of omgekeerde bakkie / piering of leë eierkarton.
TUNA RING:
2 Blikkies 200g elk, tuna in olie
150ml Melk
150g Vars broodkrummels (Wit, 2 ½ Koppies)
2 Eiers, geklits
1 Ui, gekap of 15ml gedroogde uievlokkies
5ml Sout
2ml Peper
Gedroogde pietersielie.
• Sprinkel 30 ml suurlemoensap oor Tunavis, Gevlok, meng in alle oorblywende bestanddele.
• Skep in voorbereide broodpannetjie of plastiese ringvorm.
• Mikrogolf 8-minute op hoog.
• Gooi uit op glasbord en bedien warm of koud. Garneer met pietersielietakkies en suurlemoen-wiggies, skywe hard gekookte eier, gedreineerde tamatie, argurkies, gekapte Blaarslaai, ens.
ALPINE ONION QUICHE (Microwave):
2 med. onions, thinly sliced
2 tbsp. butter
1 x 9" baked pie crust
4 tsp. flour
2 cup. shredded Swiss cheese
6 strips bacon, cooked & crumbled
3 eggs, beaten
1 cup. milk
1/2 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. freshly ground pepper
Place onions and butter in 1 quart glass casserole. Microwave on high for 4- 5 minutes or until onions are tender. Arrange onions in pie crust. Combine flour and Swiss cheese. Sprinkle over onions. Combine remaining ingredients; mix well. Pour over onion mixture. Microwave on low for 12-14 minutes or until filling is nearly set. Let stand for 10-12 minutes.
SAUCY FRANK DINNER:
1 lb. frankfurters
1/2 cup. chopped onion
1 tbsp. butter
1 can tomato soup
1 (8 oz.) can tomato sauce
1/2 cup. water
1 tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
1 tsp. sugar
1/2 lb. bow tie noodles
Cut frankfurters into quarters lengthwise. Saute the onion in butter until tender, then stir in the tomato soup, tomato sauce, water, Worcestershire sauce and sugar. Add the frankfurters and simmer for 10 minutes, stirring occasionally.
Cook the noodles according to package directions and drain. Place the frankfurters in center of a heated platter and surround with the noodles.
Personal note: I sometimes microwave by (1) saute onions in butter, full power, 1 minute (2) add other ingredients, except wieners, stir and microwave full power 2 minutes (3) remove from oven, add franks and microwave full power for another 5 minutes.

Pak helfte van aartappels in glasbak en gooi uiemengsel oor. Pak res van aartappels oor. Gooi oor eiermengsel. Bak op onbedek - medium 70% - vir 20 minute. Sprinkel met tiemie en kaas. Kook vir nog 8 minute op medium tot kaas gesmelt het. Laat rus bedek vir 5 minute.
SPINASIE QUICHE:
1 bossie spinasie, fyngekap
1 eetlepel gerasperde parmesan
een derde koppie swart ontpitte olywe
2 medium geskilde tamaties
4 eiers, geklits
½ koppie suurroom
1 koppie melk
1 eetlepel gekapte pietersielie
1 huisie gekneusde knoffel
50 g meelblom
3 rooi uie, gekap
1½ koppies fyngemaakte fetakaas , hou 'n paar in blokkies
Smeer ronde 'n bakskottel vir die mikrogolf. Meng alles saam daarin, behalwe die kase.
Kook onbedek vir 20 minute by medium hitte.
Meng een keer deur. Laat rus vir 5 minute.
Voeg kase bo-oor.
Kook bedek vir 15 minute op medium hitte.

1 can (6 oz.) tuna, drained
1/2 cup fi nely chopped mango
3 tablespoons mayonnaise
2 slices bread
2 slices Swiss cheese
HOW TO:
1. In medium bowl, combine tuna, mango and mayonnaise. Place 2 slices of bread over paper towel on microwave-safe dish. Divide mixture evenly between bread slices. Place cheese slices over tuna mixture.
2. Microwave on HIGH, 30-45 seconds or until cheese begins to melt. Serve.
Makes 2 sandwiches.

sandwiches are so easy to prepare that kids can make them for themselves.
2 cups (about 10 oz.) cubed cooked chicken
1 cup (4 oz.) shredded cheddar cheese
1/2 cup diced celery
1/3 cup sliced almonds
1/4 cup mayonnaise
1/2 teaspoon Dijon mustard
salt and pepper to taste
4 sandwich rolls
HOW TO:
1.In medium bowl, combine all ingredients (except for rolls). Place bottoms of rolls onto large microwave-safe platter. Divide chicken mixture evenly over each bottom half.
2.Place in microwave. Microwave on HIGH, for 1-1/2 – 2 minutes or until cheese begins to elt. Cover each sandwich with roll top. Microwave on HIGH, 1 minute or until rolls are heated through. Serve warm.

Microwave the goat cheese at MEDIUM for 1 minute to soften for easy spreading.
Servings: 3 servings (serving size: 1 sandwich)

1 cup thinly sliced onion, separated into rings
1 cup thinly sliced red bell pepper
1 (6-ounce) package portobello mushroom caps, thinly sliced
2 teaspoons red wine vinegar
1 teaspoon capers
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/8 teaspoon black pepper
3 ounces goat cheese
3 (2-ounce) slices sourdough bread, toasted
9 (1/8-inch-thick) slices tomato
HERE'S HOW:
Heat the oil in a large nonstick skillet coated with cooking spray over medium heat. Add onion and bell pepper; sauté 4 minutes. Add mushroom caps, and sauté 5 minutes or until tender. Remove pan from heat. Stir in the vinegar, capers, salt, and black pepper.
